Test and Terminal Exam

Monthly Tests and Annual Exam
1. A continuous assessment of the student is done by Monthly Test. The monthly tests assume a very important role in the new examination pattern. It is desired of parents that their ward must take this exam with all seriousness. A pupil has to appear in all the monthly test conducted by school.

2. He/ She has to attend at least 70% of the monthly tests held for each subject. For promotions to higher class he/ she needs to clock in at least 50% marks in each subject.

3. Notwithstanding the above, a student must pass the annual exam to get promotion to the higher class i.e. he/ she should secure at least 40% marks in each subject in annual exam. Any student failing in Mathematics, English & Science shall not be granted promotion in higher grade.
For promotion to higher grade the students will have to pass the monthly as well as Annual Exam in case the ward clears the monthly test as stipulated but fails in Annual Exam, he/ she shall not be eligible for promotion to higher class.

4. For effective feedback and smooth functioning of our institution it is very essential to have proper liaison and understanding between the teachers and the parents. All the parents/ guardians will be the member of the association and shall meet in the school at least thrice in year.

Examination Strategies

CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation Scheme) there will be continuous formative assessments and a term and summative paper pen exam. The weight age and time schedule will be as follows:

Semester I / term I
